This sumptuously illustrated two-volume boxed set was published on the occasion of the 11th International Conference on Oriental Carpets held in Istanbul in April 2007.

The first volume is on the exhibitions of private collections that were on display at the Swissotel including yastiks (78 color plates), kilims (65 color plates), catmas (24 color plates), Ottoman textiles (11 color plates), costumes (10 color plates), and piled rugs (22 color plates).

The second volume is of 118 of the 266 recently conserved rugs at the Istanbul Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art (TIEM). Turkish/ English text.

Printed and bound in Turkey. This title is the latest in the series of publications by the ICOC that provide continuing scholarship on Oriental rugs for the collector.
