ACOR 6: The Exhibitions of ACOR 6: Inclusively Baluch, Rugs of Rare Beauty from Midwest Collections, Warp-Faced Bands

Indianapolis 2003

129 Color Images CD-ROM in New condition.

This is not a book. Requires a PC or Macintosh with CD-ROM drive. Since its inception the American Conference on Oriental Rugs has been an alternative to the traditional ways of doing rug conferences. The emphasis is on a hands-on and, where possible, an interactive experience. In keeping with ACOR's openness to alternative approaches, digital technology was harnessed to create this CD-ROM. All three exhibitions that were staged for ACOR6 in Indianapolis on April 25-28, 2002 are here on this CD- ROM. The complete text that accompanied each exhibition as well as all the images are included. Clicking on the title of an exhibition opens a screen with the article about the exhibition and a group of "thumbnail" images of the pieces. When one of the thumbnails has caught your interest, you may view an enlargement by clicking on the thumbnail itself. If you want to see even more detail, click on the enlargement to view a very large image (on the order of 5M). This should provide the visual equivalent of a nose- in-the-wool experience.
