Dennis has been collecting Oriental rugs, trappings and textiles for over 40 years. In 1985 he founded Oriental Rug and Ethnographic Textile Books which is now the best source for literature on the subject. He has given talks to rug clubs around the United States as well as international conferences and has attended every ACOR and ICOC since 1983. Member of the Textile Museum Associates of Southern California.

Wesley has been working with his father since the age of sixteen publishing and editing catalogs and writing book descriptions and reviews online. In 1998, with the help of a friend, he launched RugBooks.com and has been in the business for over 10 years buying and selling books on rugs, textiles and the people who wove them. He collects a wide range of textiles as well as passport stamps and tattoos. Alumnus of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar.
